The Challenge: Modernizing a High-Traffic Pharma Platform

The objective was to overhaul the legacy Prevacid 24HR digital presence, transitioning from a static desktop site to a modern, Responsive Web Design (RWD). In the competitive OTC acid-reducer market, the goal was to capture high-intent mobile traffic, increase consumer engagement, and drive measurable lead generation and sales through a more intuitive user experience.

The Action: Technical Project Governance & Process Optimization

As the Program Manager, I orchestrated the end-to-end delivery of the site relaunch, focusing on reducing development friction while maintaining the high standards required for a global pharmaceutical brand.

  • Strategic Resource Orchestration: Managed a multi-disciplinary team of Creative, UX, Client Service, and Engineering to ensure all project milestones aligned with a hard “Live Date.”

  • Technical Framework Implementation: To optimize the budget and accelerate the development lifecycle, I mandated a 12-column grid system utilizing the 960.gs framework.

  • “Zen Garden” Workflow Integration: I oversaw the creation of a standardized “Build Kit,” ensuring all design deliverables were Zen Garden-ready. This allowed the development team to review and implement assets with zero ambiguity, significantly cutting production time.

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Acted as the primary lead for third-party developers and vendors, ensuring that the defined scope—including complex functionality and regulatory requirements—was met without cost overruns.

The Solution: Data Attribution & Analytics Integration

A critical component of the Prevacid 24HR relaunch was ensuring a 360-degree view of the customer journey for our media agency partners.

  • Complex Tagging Implementation: I managed the integration of Floodlight tags and Omniture (Adobe Analytics) to track user behavior and conversion events.

  • Cross-Functional Analytics Leadership: Partnered with in-house data teams to ensure the analytics architecture was built correctly from the ground up, allowing for real-time optimization of media spend.
